I am available to carry out on site work throughout the UK, from basic servicing, through troubleshooting, modifications and periodic inspections.

Routine servicing

 I am available to carry out a planned preventative maintenance regime on Rolls-Royce, Cummins and Gardner power unit, Twin Disc torque converters, final Drives BTH traction equipment and braking systems. 

Modifications

Need modifications to air or electrical control systems?  I can supply, develop and fit custom modifications to suit your operating requirements.

Regular independent inspections

If you are not entirely familiar with your locomotive, if you would like the reassurance that your locomotive is fit for use or want to be anticipating periodic repairs/replacements, then I can provide a quarterly or bi-annual inspection that goes thoroughly through your locomotive, identifies faults or  wear patterns and gives you the chance to address issues in good time.

This 87tonne gross Plasser & Theurer crane was put back into running order "on site" by Pete Briddon.  As bought, the Dorman 8JT power unit and radiator were 'out', the slew motor and gearbox were sat nearby, plus other components spread about.
